Julie has 33 years’ experience as a graphic designer and Julie has worked with SMA Tourism for 30 years. She specialises in design for publications, interpretation signs, interpretation displays and exhibitions for visitor centres and museums.

Her projects range from visitor orientation signage at Uluru in the Northern Territory, guides supporting the Convict Trail around the Tasman Peninsula in Tasmania, and interpretation booklets to facilitate discovering the shipwrecks and safe havens on King Island in Tasmania
She has a good head for detail and writing and editing skills back up her design ability. This is a particularly good combination in interpretation projects, where the medium and the message form a very tight fit.

Julie regularly collaborates with interpreters, writers and three-dimensional designers. Recent work for SMA Tourism includes design work for investor prospectus.
