SMA Tourism is currently working with TKD Architects and Context Landscape Architecture to develop a Master Plan for South Head within the Sydney Harbour National Park, NSW. Our contribution to this project has included
- analysis of destination and product marketing;
- analysis of visitation data and visitor profiles’
- analysis of existing visitor experiences / product audits;
- analysis of existing interpretation content and delivery mechanisms;
- benchmarking comparable destination experiential innovations, visitation and fincial performance;
- development of proposals for new and reinvigorated experiences and their supporting facilities and infrastructure;
- identification of target markets and forecasting of visitation and market segment mixes;
- identification of development costs relating to new visitor experiences; and
- forecasting of financial performance of new accommodation, function and food and beverage product proposals.
